Conference on private sector's role in development projects
KUWAIT: A conference on the role of the private sector in development and
infrastructure projects began at the JW Marriott Hotel here yesterday under the
aegis of Minister of Finance Mustafa Al-Shimali. Delegates at the two-day
conference, which has attracted representatives from several Kuwaiti state
agencies, as well as from a number of foreign state-owned enterprises, will
discuss a number of issues, primarily those related to Build Operate, Transfer (BOT)
projects.
